Eric de Place: Policy director, has investigated a wide range of research topics for Sightline, from property rights in Oregon, to regional climate policies. Before coming to Sightline, he worked for the Northwest Area Foundation developing strategies to alleviate poverty in rural communities. Email: eric [at] sightline [dot] org.
Alan Durning: Executive director and founder of Sightline Institute, has penned many popular blog series, including car-less living, bicycle neglect, and climate fairness. Prior to Sightline, Durning was a senior researcher at Worldwatch Institute, where he studied the human dimensions of sustainability and wrote the award-winning book How Much Is Enough? Anna Fahey: Senior communications strategist, oversees opinion research and distills best practices in messaging. You'll find her writing posts on how to communicate about tricky issues like climate change and government. Nate's last decade working in clean energy and sustainability has been regularly interrupted with bouts of fly fishing, backcountry skiing and digging in his garden.
Jennifer Langston: Researcher and Sightline Daily editor, combs through thousands of headlines day to bring you the region's top sustainability news. She also writes about issues such as energy, oceans, and riding the bus with her toddler. Previously, she worked at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and other papers in Washington and Idaho. Lisa Stiffler: Journalism fellow, writes about pressing issues in the Northwest, like polluted stormwater that runs into Puget Sound, or harmful BPA in baby products.
