American teen pregnancy rates are lower currently than they’ve been in decades. That’s encouraging news, and certainly reason to celebrate—but there’s still plenty of work to be done, in the Northwest and beyond. If these rates are to continue declining, we will have to accomplish concrete advances in comprehensive sexual health education and in access to safe, affordable, and effective birth control options for youth.
