In British Columbia, recent report on salmon (Cohen commission) expressed concern about the storm water system in Victoria (Capital Regional District) flowing into salmon habitat.

While Cohen also criticized Vancouver-area sewage plants for incompletely removing contaminants from riverine habitat of salmon, Cohen didn't mention our Victoria marine-based sewage treatment. That might have been because no scientists appeared before Cohen's hearings who would testify professionally that Victoria's marine-based sewage treatment was of concern for the marine environment, especially for salmon.
