If you’re a tunnel debate fanatic—or even if you’re not—I’ve got a reading assignment for you. Grist’s Dave Roberts has a first rate interview with Cary Moon, the leading critic of the deep-bore tunnel planned for downtown Seattle. This is a don’t-miss-it kind of piece so, um, don’t miss it.
Saying that Cary is knowledgeable about the tunnel is like saying the LeBron James knows how to shoot hoops. So after you read the interview, you should get yourself down to City Hall tomorrow night for the big tunnel debate sponsored by Publicola. In opposition to the tunnel, Cary will be joined by Mayor McGinn and Councilmember Mike O’Brien. It should be a good one.
